Curb It Recycling is a locally owned, full-service provider of residential and commercial recycling collection services, with operations in Summit and Wasatch Counties and in the Salt Lake Valley. Its exemplary performance has earned the company the “Utah Best of State” award for the past five years.
With nine years of successful operations, a fleet of environmentally friendly vehicles and a team of trained, experienced personnel, Curb It Recycling has the capacity, skills and knowledge to provide all recycling services. Curb It has two offices, one in Park City and one in Heber. Office hours are 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, with after-hours availability via e-mail (info@curbitrecycling.com).
Curb It President Shirin Spangenberg serves on the Recycling Coalition of Utah board of directors. An avid volunteer, she works as a DJ for KPCW’s This Green Earth program and is an environmental video reporter for Randy Barton’s My In Box News. Shirin is also a member and founder of the McPolin “Green Team.”
Dirk Spangenberg, the company’s CEO, is in charge of operations and logistics. He has been the leading force in the development of efficient, effective services that are responsive to customer needs while being mindful of the safety of drivers and the general public. All Curb It services are continuously evaluated and revised to meet customer needs and provide optimal cost-effective recycling services.
Shirin and Dirk attend state and national recycling conventions to expand their understanding of industry trends and stay abreast of industry requirements.
